Dear You,
I've always believed clothing used to be more fun.
Maybe that's why I still find myself looking back at old photos from the early 2000s. The longer tanks, foldover yoga pants, playful colors, and outfits that somehow felt effortless and exciting at the same time.
As I got older, I noticed that feeling was harder to find.
Everything started looking the same. And when I looked for activewear made from natural fabrics, almost everything was synthetic. The few cotton options I found felt plain, like I had to choose between comfort and style.
Growing up, my mom always dressed me in cotton whenever she could. Back then, I didn't understand why. Now I do.
Comfort matters.
The way your clothes feel on your skin matters.
And I never understood why we couldn't have that and clothes that felt fun to wear.
So I created Halsy.
A love letter to the fashion I grew up loving. To the girls who miss when getting dressed felt exciting. To the ones who want to feel comfortable, confident, feminine, and completely themselves.
